HR and Training Advisor

Reporting to: Charles Williams, Managing Director
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
Annual salary: Between £21,000 and £25,000, depending on experience and qualifications

Experience
- At least 6 months previous experience in a HR Administration role
- Some general office administration experience
- Some experience working with customers
- Some experience working at a confidential level
- Proactive, problem-solving experience
Responsibilities
- To review and maintain employee records on the Company HR Software, “Breathe”
- Preparation and updating of company HR documents
- Advice to managers on general terms and conditions of employment
- Resolve employee HR queries
- Administer company welfare activities
- Administer any employee relations cases including dispute resolution, disciplinary, grievance, absence, retirement and redundancy
- Assist with recruitment and selection activities on and offsite
- Take minutes in HR-related meetings
- Maintain Employee Handbook with HR policies and procedures
- Carry out new starter Inductions
- Administer all training activities and maintain competency and skills records
- Support the management team with change management processes
- Conduct HR review of monthly payroll information prior to submission
- Contribute to specific projects
- Adhere to Training, Recruitment and Welfare Budgets
