Wanted: Graphic Designer at Crown Paints in Darwen, Lancashire (Hybrid)

Crown Paints are looking to appoint a Graphic Designer, reporting into the Studio Design lead and supporting a wider dynamic Design Team. The successful candidate will be a team-player and imaginative with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take existing designs and create digital assets for our Crown digital asset management system
  • Manage and update an in-house image library
  • Interpret a brief to create innovate designs
  • Be a good communicator with colleagues within the design team and the wider marketing team
  • Produce posters, small brochures, POS elements for stores
  • Retouch roomset imagery
  • Pitching creative concepts to the project owners
  • Collaborating with the design & marketing team to launch projects
  • Using feedback from other designers to improve

About You

  • Graphic design qualification or similar.
  • Enthusiastic attitude towards new projects within a busy studio
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Time management skills
  • A talent for creativity and problem-solving
  • Experience within a graphic design studio would be beneficial

Software Skills

  • Experience with design software and graphics editing software, such as InVision and Adobe CC packages.
  • Experience of dot.digital & Adobe After Effects would be good but not essential
  • Need a portfolio of work demonstrating creativity and attention to detail
