Filling Operator – Introduction

If you possess a fork-lift truck licence this is a tremendous opportunity develop your career in a business that is a world expert in making coatings. We are now recruiting a Filling Line Operator to join our manufacturing site in Stowmarket.

Filling Operator – The Role

• Ensure paint filling & associated equipment operates effectively to meet set production targets.
• Work safely & to the highest H&S standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver improvements & reduce wastage.
• Resolve equipment problems, support repairs & manage product changeovers.
• Ensure appropriate production pre-checks are undertaken to minimise line downtime.
• Maintain a good housekeeping standards.

Filling Operator – About You

• GCSE passes in Maths & English.
• FLT driving licence.
• Eye for detail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation & interpersonal skills.
• Flexible to work shifts involving weekend working.
• Understands the importance of operating to company procedures & safely.
• City and Guilds and NVQ 1 desirable.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment an advantage.
