Farrow and Ball – Facilities Co-ordinator, Wimborne (37.5 hours per week)

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Maintenance team in Wimborne as a Facilities Co-ordinator. We are offering this position on a full-time basis, Monday – Friday.

As a Facilities Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for providing support to our busy maintenance team, ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of the company’s physical assets and infrastructure.

This site-based role will support the Engineering team with coordination of key department tasks, which will include arranging for contractual staff to complete necessary maintenance and repairs, checking of equipment and taking accurate readings where required along with any associated Administrative tasks.

What We Expect From You As a Facilities Co-ordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to understand business needs, working to a defined schedule & where necessary prioritise own work accordingly.
  • As part of a team, strive to ensure KPI’s are met.
  • Provide and maintain an excellent level of service to the business.
  • Ensure compliance with company H&S practices and procedures.
  • Conduct all meter readings, weekly/monthly, and track accordingly.
  • Carry out monthly Emergency light testing across the site.
  • Carry out weekly Fire Alarm testing across the site.
  • Tracking spend and purchasing of engineering and factory consumables.
  • Carry out Ladder Inspections across the site.
  • Control of Legionella.
  • Arrange & oversee contractor visits for compliance & servicing purposes.

Key Attributes:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
  • Strong ability to work cross functionally liaising with members of staff across the whole business and differing seniority.
  • To be a team player and work colaboratively with other members of the team.
  • Execellent attention to detail and confidence to report or question should things not look quite right.

This role will require regular lifting and manual handling of Farrow & Ball products, light maintenance equipment and use of ladders additional training will be offered where needed.
