Our commitment to excellence and sustainability drives us to deliver innovative solutions that enhance and protect surfaces.Play a key role in ensuring our facilities are maintained to the highest standards, creating a safe and productive environment for our employees and visitors.In this role, you will support the Estates and Facilities Management team in maintaining and enhancing our facilities within our Darwen head office along with our Crown Decorating Centre (CDC) network across multiple locations. From coordinating maintenance activities to managing vendor relationships, you will be a key contributor to the smooth operation of our facilities.   • Support the CDC network with day to day issues such as maintenance, phone, connectivity, fleet, and utilities.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with the consequences.
  • Ensure that all demised areas of the Crown House estate are maintained, giving proper consideration to the financial impact of any agreed works.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers and stores to arrange works, deliveries etc. Reviewing documents and issuing work permits.
  • Assume responsibility for the opening and closing of Crown House.
  • Deliver a range of caretaking duties including housekeeping and maintenance, office renovations and relocations, controlling and managing waste.

What will you need to be successful?

  • PC literate in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to understand the basics of building control and maintenance tasks and a practical understanding of machinery & utilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a good collaborator with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Be willing to work towards a WIFM or equivalent qualification (desirable)
  • Health and Safety qualification (desirable)
  • Ability to use AutoCAD (desirable)
