Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering Industrial Placement
To start July 2022 for 12 months
£15,840 per annum plus relocation allowance*

The internship opportunities within our business are geared towards providing you with a challenging experience. Working as part of a successful team on ‘real life’ projects you’ll be mentored by experienced professionals. With their support you will develop your analytical and team working skills, see how academic theory is applied in a corporate environment and make a real contribution to the success of the business. Day-to-day you will operate our Powder Coatings Manufacturing Pilot Line. This will involve assisting conduct experiments to support development of novel manufacturing process, the compiling equipment specifications and the planning of work, design of test equipment set ups. You will also conduct AutoCad designs, investigate manufacturing scale up issues and much more.
To be considered you must be a high achiever expecting to attain a minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering. You will also be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and presentation skills as well as the ability to operate independently. Some AutoCad drawing (2D and 3D) experience would be an advantage.
