Having gained expertise in a senior level manufacturing role, and ideally with experience of leading and delivering CI programmes too, you are ready to join a company that offers roles with breadth, depth of scope and impact. We are now looking to recruit a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the further evolution and development of a world class CI culture across our Stowmarket manufacturing site.

As Continuous Improvement Manager you will embed a true CI mindset across all operational areas by promoting and instilling a passion for continuous improvement in our daily operation. Your end goal will be to improve our operating against Key Performance Indicators across the site. Collaborating with colleagues, you will support the site manager by building organisational capabilities, improving site performance, driving and overseeing the improvement portfolio as well as implementing business CI initiatives too. You will help develop local capabilities in applying continuous improvement tools and methods coaching as well as provide coaching support to drive CI activities. Critically, you will oversee key CI projects, taking responsibility for scoping, project assignment, resource planning, progress tracking and delivery. You will also network across the AkzoNobel CI community to share insights, problems and opportunities as well as promote improved performance and problem-solving company wide.

Of graduate calibre, you will have worked in a senior level manufacturing role, and ideally gained experience of leading and delivering CI programmes. You must have knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six

Sigma or TPM. An effective coach, you will also possess excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills. You will enjoy a collaborative and supporting work environment too. Customer focused, you will be highly organised, good at resolving problems and comfortable overseeing change initiatives.
