Our Digital Procurement team within Indirect Procurement is looking for an experienced Category Procurement Manager for support IT & Digital area within Hempel. In this role, you will ensure the development and execution of IT Category Management, focusing on sourcing and contract management, building strong supplier relationships, and delivering sustainable value-adding solutions. You will be part of the Group Procurement, consisting of 55 colleagues around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of the IT category strategy with focus on: cost, collaboration, contracts and compliance
  • Execute sourcing activities within the global IT category aligned with the relevant businesses’ requirements
  • Planning, negotiating and contracting all relevant sourcing related activities
  • Develop supplier relationships and mature contract management within IT
  • Continuously support optimizing the IT category by driving cost focused initiatives
  • Relationship management with both internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications And Competences

  • Master’s degree or similar level relevant educational background and/or experience from consultancy would be a benefit (Big4)
  • Relevant experience in global category management (strategic sourcing and procurement)
  • Min. 2 years of experience within IT & Digital space (preferably in global international company )
  • Skillful and experienced project management and negotiation skills
  • Solid experience and interest working with IT contract lifecycle management
  • Strong relationship-builder with internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to communicate in a clear and consistent way – both verbally and in writing in English
