About Inktech Ltd
INKTECH
‘Innovation in Ink’
INKTECH is a market leading privately owned manufacturer of solvent and water based flexographic and gravure printing inks and specialist coatings. Established in 1989 we have a proven record of providing high quality and excellent service. We are a small and dynamic company who are growing through increased sales of our highly specialised products to a wide customer base. We pride ourselves on our technical expertise, our customer service and our ability to innovate to meet the changing demands of the market.
Our business is reactive and the environment is focussed and fast paced and we support this by concentrating on the development and the wellbeing of our people. We recognize that we are only as good as our people. Whilst investment in processes, technology and research and development are crucial to our business success, it’s our people who make the difference.
We are exceptionally good at recognising talent and potential and helping our people grow in their professional areas. We develop our people through competency frameworks that look at the technical skills needed to do the job and the interpersonal skills that ensure that individuals can flourish within a diverse working environment.
We support our people through a regular programme of 121’s with their line managers where performance is discussed and issues are resolved through collaborative working.
Twice a year, we hold Appraisal Meetings where development activities and career aspirations are discussed. We then plan ways to stretch and challenge our people to ensure that there is a constant movement forward in terms of personal and professional growth.
Alongside this, we recognise that people who are healthy and happy are more successful and productive at work. To this end, we offer an in house Wellbeing Programme called Look After You (based on the 5 Ways 2 Wellbeing). Every week we have activities that promote wellbeing such as regular free lunches, end of the month company get togethers, team building activities and ‘get active’ days. Our Managing Director (who is a Qualified Mountain Leader) also invites small groups of staff out periodically for a ‘Walk with the Boss’. This communication and team building activity usually involves a pub lunch!
We also offer a fully supported Mental Wellbeing at Work Programme (delivered through Able Futures) to keep our people healthy, happy and fulfilled in their roles. Our aim is that our people are healthy, happy and look forward to coming to work.
