About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Formulation Chemist to join a very forward thinking ink formulators team. Joinging a highly skilled team you’ll work with us on our shared objective to deliver successful products to the printing market. This role offer the opportunity to think creatively, to optimise solutions of complex problems in a regulated environment. You can expect to work with colleagues in technical, operational and commercial functions to develop formulation specifications and product designs that meet customer and business needs.

Key Tasks:

• Manage the delivery of ink product developments ensuring best practice and consistency with group processes
• Work with the Marketing team to deliver detailed project definitions
• Ensure product designs are created holistically considering Customer, Operational and Regulatory requirements
• Contribute to the Marking Materials quality and process improvement plan and lead improvement initiatives
• Manage safety, health and environmental issues in areas of responsibility
• Create and promote opportunities for technology development within the Marking Materials group and wider R&D team
• Ensure Operational capability of product designs

About You

If you possess degree or higher qualification in Chemistry, Physics or Chemical Engineering (or related subject), or a related Science and strong industrial experience in the area of coatings, inks or formulation science, this is an excellent opportunity to join a leading R&D department and play a key role in future product development.

This role is suitable for the experienced formulation scientist wishing to take a leading role in the formulation development aspects of the new product development programs.
