Senior Brand Managers – 1 x Retail, 1 x Trade

You have extensive category development experience gained in a high performing business where you have excelled in managing multiple categories and/or brands. AkzoNobel have just launched their new Category Vision and strategy and are focused on driving further growth in new and innovative ways. We are now recruiting a Senior Brand Manager- Category Development, to drive our category leadership position with priority customers in the consumer or decorator markets.

As Senior Brand Manager in either our Retail or Trade arenas you will collaborate with colleagues to deliver the ABR plan and specific brand health and market share targets, by creating compelling category strategies for customers. We will look to you to develop tailored category growth plans with key clients. This will include defining optimum range, space, layout and navigation solutions as well as ensuring ‘brilliant execution’ along the path to purchase in both the physical and digital space. You will build in-depth customer relationships, help enhance Customer Marketing capability and raise category standards. You will also monitor category and customer performance as well as revise plans as required.

Comfortable working within a matrix organisation structure, you will possess excellent project management, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Results driven, you are consumer & customer focused and an effective communicator who excels at multi-tasking and is familiar with managing budgets.

Experience gained working within FMCG, Retail or DIY industries alongside a proficiency in JDA. would be an advantage.
