Retail Logistics Manager

We are now recruiting a Retail Logistics Manager to support our growing national network of Dulux Decorator Centre trade stores.

As Retail Logistics Manager, you will ensure the smooth flow of goods and products to customers through the efficient movement of logistics from manufacturing, through store and direct to the customer. You will help to develop our strategy to make sure every stage of the retail supply chain. Works effectively as well as supporting the pace of current growth and retail industry changes. You will be given autonomy to create and deploy a rolling three-year logistics plan too. This will involve developing and coaching national Stores teams committed to delivering an effective and sustainable end to end logistics process, as well as driving operational performance to ensure high quality standards and processes. You will also identify opportunities to impact cost of service through continuous improvement. Critically you will help build closer collaboration with specific key customers to deliver improved loyalty through service extension.

For this role, you will be an existing and experienced Logistics Manager or Supply Chain Manager with strong understanding of sourcing, warehousing and distribution. Of graduate calibre, you will also have a proven track record of contributing towards business success in a multi-site retail business. Using your positive can-do approach, you will be adept at managing stakeholder relationships and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Effective at making sound business decisions, you will be sensitive to client needs and excel at providing brilliant customer service. You will be good at overseeing budgets and nurturing people teams too.
