Payroll Finance Administrator

6 months Fixed Term Contract

Part Time – 25 hours per week – Hybrid Working

Experienced in payroll administration you are looking for a new role in a business that offers roles with breadth, depth of scope and impact. That business is AkzoNobel. We are now looking for a Payroll Administrator to provide payroll and finance administration and coordination support for our People Services team in Altrincham.

As Payroll Administrator you will help ensure the payroll runs smoothly. This will include the daily reconciliation and audit of the payroll bank account as well as handling payroll and finance related queries. You will also register any inaccuracies and produce regular payroll reporting. Important will be the ability to ensure processes are followed and work delivered in-line with service level agreements.

You must have experience in a payroll administration role and have good knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws. You will also be a proficient user of payroll software, preferably SD Worx, as well as HRIS, MS Office and Case management systems. You will have an eye for detail and be able to work to deadlines too. Comfortable prioritising your work you will be a team player who is good on operating on your own initiative when needed. Of course you will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
