Still a family business after over five generations of experience, we are at an exciting point of growth and are looking for a proactive, inspiring, driven Marketing Executive to join our team.

The Role

The role of the Marketing Executive is to support the Marketing Manager and team in the day-to-day marketing activities with a focus on growing the digital (e-marketing) and social channels (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok), engaging with the digital community, creating content, and remaining abreast of industry trends and competitor activity. Commercially aware and driven we are seeking a Marketing Executive who can completely support the marketing strategy and meet company objectives. Mylands have recently rebranded, so this is an exciting opportunity to join a unique heritage brand that is informed by the past yet inspired by the future.

Key Responsibilities

Support in the planning and delivery of digital strategy across all social media platforms.
Manage social media channels including Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok.
Create content from photography and videography both in the studio and on location.
Assist with the organisation and logistics of design trade shows and cultural collaborations.
Together with the Marketing team coordinate, plan, and deliver compelling e-marketing campaigns.
Assist the Marketing team to implement the marketing plan, comprising a mix of on and offline activities.
Generate detailed reports covering social media growth, campaign results and competitor analysis.
Support the PR activation and manage day-to-day press enquiries.
Manage influencer collaborations and user generated content.
Prepare marketing materials and business documents.

Required Experience & Skills

Social media management and brand experience.
A self-starter, able to work autonomously and on own your initiative.
Excellent attention to detail.
The ability to write good copy and adapt the tone of voice / style depending on the context.
Adobe design skills: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro preferable. Creation of impactful assets for multiple channels essential.
An understanding of performance marketing and paid social advertising campaigns, techniques, and analytics.
A creative mindset – the ability to come up with new, engaging, and imaginative ideas.
Fantastic organisation and project management skills.
Flexibility to work in a small team.
The ability to get things done and make things happen.
