Maintain our existing business whilst developing new business growth within our E & I Sales segment to achieve the budgeted sales objectives within the defined sales territoryYou will work closely with our customer base with a particular focus to grow their business and develop strong working relationships. You will also be expected to proactively develop new business within strategically identified customers and market areas.

Role responsibilities;

  • Prepare an annual sales plan and forecast for the agreed sales territory
  • Develop personal action plans and submit monthly sales reports
  • Collect information from the market in order to elaborate and implement the proper sales strategies.
  • Identify, establish and manage business relationships with key customer accounts.
  • Prepare account development plans, create and manage opportunities within the CRM pipeline.
  • Review pricing structures, maintain price lists and implement increases as required to ensure expected margins are maintained
  • Inspire and transmit Hempel values in order to get the best results out of our customers.
  • Collaborate with and support colleagues in the best interest of the sales team to deliver required levels of business.
  • Coordinate and ensure, together with the Logistics, Customer Care and Technical Service departments, the supply of “1st class” service to our customers.
  • Drive the group sustainability agenda out to our customers

You Should Also Tick The Boxes When It Comes To The Following

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record within Sales and Protective Coatings with a particular emphasis on infrastructure and passive fire protection markets .

  • Well-rounded excel skills including Microsoft Office package, CRM and PowerPoint
  • A good standard of secondary education is required but the key criteria is current protective coatings experience within UK market
  • Customer knowledge and key sales competencies are necessary.
  • Good written English and the ability to both present and negotiate across a broad spectrum of customers.
  • Must be technically competent on protective coatings products, surface preparation and application techniques
  • Must be flexible in approach towards cross functional working
