As a UK Market Manager you will be responsible for:
Overall sales, technical services and sales support (customer services) teams and activities for the Direct Brands and Distribution Brands for Automotive Finishes U.K.
Integrating comprehensive sales, technical service, business strategies, managing relationships with customers and internal staff and ensuring financial and operational goals are met within the country and region.
Development distribution account portfolio and the relationships we own between clients, us and their end users
Set up and the expansion of the U.K. Tier 1 direct brand accounts and partners
Ensuring the development of the U.K. team and management of the team to meet company and personal goals.
Overseeing and direct management (when NSM, BDM or TSC are out) of the direct and distribution sales teams as required within the structure including training, evaluating performance, workload management and people development.
In conjunction with the wider EMEAI sales team this role will drive the strategic sales focus of the wider Automotive U.K. and EMEAI business.
Daily interaction with teams and corporate functions
Monthly interaction with corporate finance teams to monitor and track accruals, P&L’s and rebates.
Reporting into the EMEAI Commercial Director the role will deliver the overall U.K. business strategy including investments in the marketplace, people development, sales developments and strategic planning for the years to come.
Data analysis and reporting will address gaps and segments in direct and distribution market accounts against business growth targets.
Owning and managing key 3rd party suppliers and partner relationships
Upkeep and maintenance of SAGE ERP system and functionality
Provide detailed weekly and monthly forecasting, budgeting and sales reports for the EMEAI finance and leadership teams.
Ensure the Biggleswade facility is delivering service levels, commercial offices are upkept, and the sites meets all latest SW standards.
Being a leader and ambassador of Sherwin-Williams core values and standards. Instilling them within your team also.
A critical customer and partner facing role on a national level across the U.K. (including Northern Ireland)
This is a critical business role and will require daily interactions with EMEA staffs, business partners, attending distribution sales meetings, presenting to large groups of sales and technical staffs, following-up on contacts and sales actions, attending industry events and networking within the industry and business segments.
GCSE – Maths and English or Equivalent
Degree level education
7+ Years experience working in the Automotive VR market or aftermarket.
Knowledge of VR product, applications, technologies and competition
Working for paint/coatings company
Experience within the U.K. Vehicle Refinish market
Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint (high standard)
Reporting tools – Pan Intelligence, Micro strategy
Full UK Driving License
VR application theory and understanding
Sales Force, Pan Intelligence, SAGE 200, Kronos knowledge
