Job Overview
Summary:
  • Covers a wide range of tasks for both internal and field based duties
  • General duties will be designated as required but will be determined by the activities of the sales team and internal product developments
Responsibilities:
  • External
    • Product demonstrations and trials carried out in a customer facing environment
    • Developing working relationships with customers
    • Providing tuition of customers staff on the correct use of our products
    • Product training for distributors and sales team
    • Supporting the sales team to secure and develop new and existing accounts
  • Internal
    • Practical evaluation and development of laboratory samples
    • Investigate and provide a resolution to complaints
    • Provide technical support for office based queries
    • Producing accurate written reports and product specifications
    • Preparation of display panels and promotional material for customer presentation
Requirements:
  • Background relating to the paint industry, with application experience in the industrial sector
  • Understanding of paint systems and specifications would be an advantage
  • Requires ability to carry out allocated tasks with minimum of supervision with the expectation of achieving a satisfactory outcome
  • Candidate will possess a high degree of self-motivation, self-confidence and self-reliance but can also operate in an office and team environment
