We are seeking a Sourcing Manager, Indirect Procurement, who will focus on execution of sourcing projects within our global logistics category. Your role will ensure efficient business performance and contribute by selecting the right partners for the business to perform at the right level and to have the most competitive cost of Logistics’ available in the market.

You will report to the Director of Indirect Procurement and collaborate closely with our Global Category Manager for Logistics & Warehousing. You’ll thrive in a flexible home-office model, seizing chances to create a significant impact from Spain, Poland, UK or Denmark, while working alongside colleagues from the global and regional teams and external suppliers globally.

Strategic Responsibilities

Your key role will focus on controlling category spend by periodically launching tenders, negotiating contract extensions, and proposing improvements to the services provided by the selection of excellent suppliers in the category.

  • Sourcing and Procurement of the Logistics activities in line with the businesses’ requirements.
  • Driving end to end part of the Logistics category (Europe primarily) with both sourcing, contract and supplier relationships management perspectives
  • Continuously supporting the optimization of the category by driving cost-focused and operational optimization initiatives.
  • Performing a high-level stakeholder management with both internal and external business partners.

What does it take to become our new team member?

  • Relevant industry expertise and knowledge in executing sourcing projects (end to end) within the Logistics category, which allows handling tenders and RFQs independently, from initiation to final negotiations and contracting. This means Logistics knowledge in dealing with hazardous goods and in the chemical / coating industry will be a plus
  • Strong financial and negotiations skills, including understanding cost and savings dynamics.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and consistently – both verbally and in writing in English
  • CIPS certificate, Prince 2 or Consultancy background would be seen as a plus.
