Job Overview
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the communications strategy for the Dulux brand from strategy to execution
  • Development of communications strategy which delivers against brand and business objectives
  • Leading the team and our agency partners to define, create and deliver marketing communication plans that drive tangible business and brand growth and deliver a seamless customer journey both online and offline
  • Delivery of outstanding creative work which engages and excites customers
  • Setting stretching targets and KPI's to deliver exceptional results
  • Continuously learning about our consumers and maintain an in-depth understanding of their needs
  • Managing a significant communications budget
  • Leading, motivating and coaching the team to create a highly effective team culture collaborate across the business to bring our experience and expertise together to ensure first class development and execution of our marketing plans including; the Brand team, Digital, Customer Marketing, Commercial teams, Insight, Innovation and the Global Team

Requirements:
  • Significant experience of developing and implementing communications strategy in high performing businesses
  • Have successfully implemented Brand planning and marketing programmes, delivering impressive results in challenging markets
  • Strong track record of successfully delivering against challenging targets
  • Innovative thinker, always looking for new and cutting edge ways to deliver compelling campaigns
  • An inspiring leader and communicator, great presenting skills and passion for bringing brands to life for others
  • Comfortable working within a matrix organisation structure and influencing senior and global stakeholders
  • Excellent project management, analytical and team leadership skills
  • Strong experience of P&L management and managing brand budgets
  • Champion of the consumer/customer insight as the foundation of brilliant marketing
  • Thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and excel at multi tasking and effective time management
  • Proactive with the desire to show leadership on anything brand related and passionate about how the brand is represented
  • Experience gained working within FMCG, Retail or DIY industries would be an advantage
