Job Overview
Summary:
  • The Senior HR Advisor role will be responsible for the management and execution of a comprehensive and proactive HR service, with a key focus on employee relations and learning and development
  • The role will be predominantly based at our Witney (Oxford) site, but will support the UK and Ireland team across multiple sites and business units
Responsibilities:
  • Proactively partner with managers and their teams supporting all elements of the employee life cycle
  • In partnership with the talent acquisition team support managers in all areas of recruitment activity, from sourcing to onboarding, including undertaking a key role in competency based interviews to ensure best candidate selection
  • Act as an ER specialist to managers, supporting across all aspects of ER, including the training and upskilling of managers in casework activity
  • Support managers in the execution of all cyclical activity including performance reviews, pay reviews and compliance activity in line with company guidelines
  • Develop, prepare and present statistical analysis of key HR information, ensuring improvement measures in place, as needed
  • Undertake HR projects across UK and Ireland in line with the country plan for continuous improvement and harmonisation
  • Drive employee engagement, focusing on employee survey feedback, holding regular employee forums in order to improve culture & retention
  • Coach and guide managers in all areas of performance management, ensuring consistency of approach to employee development
  • Supporting the creation and implementation of a UK L&D plan aligned with the EMEAI and global offering
  • Implementing L&D processes in the UK&I region
  • Facilitating training and workshops on different topics e.g. personal development, coaching, leadership and performance management
  • Develop and coach managers in relation to people development and continuous learning
Requirements:
  • CIPD qualified or studying towards preferred
  • Proven experience within a HR role within a fast-paced matrix organisation
  • Regional support - this position supports multiple facilities within the UK which required effective planning and time management
  • Statistics and analysis - this position utilises statistics and analysis to make data-driven recommendations and decision
  • GCSE Maths and English, Degree qualified
  • Extensive experience in a similar role within a commercial environment
  • Have experience/knowledge working within a matrix organisation
Preferred:
  • Certification in facilitating or personal behaviour assessment (i.e. insights discovery)
  • Some experience in facilitating workshops, training for managers and employees
  • Proficient in excel
