Job Overview
Summary:
  • Flexibility on the location of the role will be considered, however must be willing to travel to Head Office in Wimborne
  • Connect our influencing strategy through press, social media and our brand ambassador
  • Shape and execute the communications strategy for Farrow & Ball to increase relevancy and reach through earned and owned media
Responsibilities:
  • Press and Décor Industry Influence
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with influencers, strategic partners and press, using your network to maintain positive brand perception and share of voice in the home and décor industry
    • Secure consistent, strategic and on-brand editorial coverage across key digital and print outlets.
    • Keep abreast of competitor activities and industry developments to inform the business, and apply as necessary to marketing initiatives
    • Ensure our Brand Ambassadors are deployed and help prepare them for press interviews and speaking opportunities
  • Social Media Development
    • Develop our social channels to proactively build awareness and authority in décor and lifestyle
    • Act as the strategic filter for brand content and consumer engagement to balance pull and push messaging
    • Manage the balance between global and local development and implementation
  • Communications Leadership
    • Oversee all internal and external communications for the company
    • Oversee post campaign reporting, analysis and ongoing KPIs
    • Coach and develop the team to develop their skills and experience and understanding of best practice and sharing of Social and Press management expertise and leading by example
Requirements:
  •  8+ years’ experience in a communications or digital management role
  • Solid experience leading and managing a small team
  • Experience delivering results with outstanding verbal, written and storytelling skills
  • Experience of managing and developing Social Media channel
  • Experience implementing comms response plans across company and public policy topics
  • A self-starter who is proactive, can work across teams, and under tight deadlines
