Job Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and leading the full UK brand portfolio and all ATL and BTL communications for the Armstead brand which holds 11.2% of the trade paint market share
  • Take ownership for defining and delivering the strategic roadmap for the brand and develop annual communication plans that support the strategy
  • A commercially-focused, motivated self-starter, you’ll take full ownership for both product management and comms development, execution and measurement
  • Working in partnership with Customer Marketing and Sales team to execute the brand plan, you’ll take responsibility for leading the innovation pipeline for all Armstead products and alongside this, create innovative launch plans for professional decorates that excites loyal customers about the product and drives brand acquisition for new customers
  • Defining and delivering a clear portfolio strategy as well as a customer channel strategy that your senior stakeholders will be delivering to our retail partners
  • You need to possess a thorough understanding of Armstead’s customers and use market insight and trends to gain an appreciation of their changing dynamics
  • Own the A&P for the brand to develop a strong, effective brand communications plan that will engage customers through media advertising, social media, CRM and through digital partnerships that serve to drive awareness and propensity to choose and assist the on and offline customer journey
  • Responsibility for all PR and media buying for Armstead, securing maximum value of the investment and have access to specialist, industry-leading agencies

Requirements:

  • Educated to BA/BSc degree level or equivalent with significant experience of holistic marketing in high performing businesses, managing multiple categories and/or brands (ideally within FMCG, retail or DIY industries) and their ATL and BTL communication
  • Brilliant at forming strong working relationships with colleagues, are commercially astue with a keen eye for detail, but can also see the bigger picture when you need to
  • Not afraid to get stuck in and will roll up your sleeves with the team around you to get brilliant commercial results and get the job done
