Job Description

PPG, is a leading and well-established global paint company with their Ireland office based in Carrickfergus. We are looking to recruit a full-time, permanent position for a Sales Orderline ClerkThe ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, along with a friendly and professional telephone manner. The ability to work as part of a small team, with good communication and organisational skills, is essential. You must possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook, with experience of working in an administrative or retail environment being particularly desirable.We provide a great benefits package, including private healthcare and staff discounts, as well as 25 days annual leave yearlyHours of work are Monday to Thursday (8.30am to 4.30pm), Friday (8.30am to 3.30pm)Key Responsibilities

  • Enter customer orders in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
  • Send customers order acknowledgements and invoices when requested
  • Investigate and respond to all customer queries, enquiries or complaints
  • Provide key support to sales representatives and all other areas of the business
  • Participate in telesales events
  • Build relationships with customers
  • Gain a thorough knowledge of all PPG and 3rd party products
  • Ensure you are up to date with promotional activity at all times
  • Any other tasks as requested by the Team leader
