Farrow and Ball – SHE Administrator (37.5 hours per week – 8:30am – 4:30pm Mon – Fri)

We are currently looking for an SHE Administrator to join our Health, Safety and Environmental team in Wimborne, Dorset. We are offering this position on a full-time basis.

As a SHE Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring that general administration in support of the Global SHE Manager and team is achieved. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, analytical thinker and reactive to collating or escalating key information as required.

What We Expect From You As a SHE Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

  • EPR Extended Producer Responsibility – Supported by the Global SHE Manager and subject experts in the business for EPR legal compliance, undertake the data administration for packaging reporting per market using sales data, manipulation and submission requirements on a global basis per market as needed.
  • Maintain records in relation to the Integrated Management System for ISO14001&ISO45001.
  • Coordination of the Health & Safety email address collating information and escalating as required.
  • Monitoring of the Incident and Accident reporting platform.
  • Monitoring of Assure Safety walks for completion and scheduling.
  • Preparation of Group SHE KPIs using the Assure Insights portal to identify trends and current Global activity for the Management to review.
  • Maintaining site waste stream KPI for Environmental KPI.
  • Liaison with waste handlers regarding collection of waste including associated legal documentation.
  • Sourcing and purchasing via IFS H&S and welfare equipment as required. And ensure tracking is performed.
  • Maintaining tracking and prompt system for person specific risk assessments, and pregnancy risk assessments on a Global basis.
  • Starters and Leavers List & Chase Outstanding Ergonomics assessments and associated actions.
  • Maintaining training document files and preparing gap analysis for refresher training and any lapses in required learning.
  • Minutes taking and typing for the quarterly H&S & Environmental meeting.
  • Ensuring accurate filing of external documentation as required, prompting required testing or on site surveys.
  • Daily communication with current suppliers, for ordering, services, invoicing and general enquiries.

This is an outline Job Description and employees are expected to undertake other duties as directed.

Key Attributes:

  • Previous administrative experience essential.
  • NVQ Level 2 administration or working towards it would be advantageous.
  • Motivated and able to use own initiative.
  • A basic understanding and experience of H&S or the Environment would be advantageous, but full 121 and company training will be provided directly to assist in the above JD.
  • Exceptional I.T Skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word is essential.
  • Numeric understanding of large data sheets and excel formulations.
  • Good organisational and planning skills along with excellent communication, verbal and written.
  • Due to the sensitivity of some of the information a high level of confidentiality and discretion will be required.

With our current team, you can work from home as required, with at least 3 days on site.
