Summary
We are looking for a Regulatory Consultant to support our growing regulatory services under Global Notifications with a focus on EU-REACH and UK-REACH.
As a member of the regulatory team, you will deliver expert guidance and regulatory advice to clients, helping to ensure companies meet their compliance obligations. .
The role will also require that you contribute to building and growing our client base through a proactive approach; networking and presenting at relevant forums, advising new prospective clients and growing our portfolio of services to our existing customers.
Depending on your experience with EU and UK REACH, you may join our team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and provide a focal point of knowledge to colleagues and industry.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Provide regulatory expert advice to clients with regard to Global Notifications (notably, UK-REACH and EU-REACH).
- Proactively contribute to the growth and expansion of Yordas’ client base and portfolio of services via networking, presenting, direct client engagement, and effective account management.
- Project management of REACH Registrations and Notifications including the setup and management of Only Representative contracts.
- Work closely and effectively with colleagues in the regulatory and scientific teams, and with staff across all business and administrative functions
Profile And Qualifications
For a Regulatory Consultant position, the candidate is expected to have the following skills and qualifications.
- Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the EU and UK REACH regulation and guidance documents
- Good working knowledge of other EU and UK chemicals legislation is desirable, e.g. CLP, safety data sheets, biocidal products
- Demonstrable experience in delivering EU and UKREACH Registration services, including providing accurate quotations, managing large projects involving internal and external stakeholders, data sharing discussions and contractual negotiations
- Demonstrable experience with the IUCLID 6 software for creating Inquiry and Registration dossiers for submission to ECHA or HSE (experience with Lead Registration dossiers would also be desirable)
- Expertise using ECHA’s REACH-IT platform for submissions
- At least 3 years professional experience in a similar role (Regulatory Consultant role)
- University degree in a natural science such as (eco)toxicology, chemistry or environmental sciences
- Fluent English (spoken and written), an additional European language would be an advantage
