Job Description

As a fast-growing business in the UK Chemical Distribution industry, we are now looking for a Quality and Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our Quality and Regulatory team. If you have a degree in a science related subject, a working knowledge of regulatory standards, and an ability to understand legislation then this could be the exciting opportunity that you are looking for as your next career move.

Are you experienced in working within a team? Are you excited to pro-actively engage with key stakeholders across our 5 divisions, seeking solutions to their challenges? Within this role you will plan and implement audit programmes with regulatory authorities, certification bodies and customers. You will enjoy keeping abreast of regulatory and quality standard updates, ensuring that company documentation is kept up to date. A key responsibility of your new role will be to plan and implement the company internal audit programme.

Within your new role you will work to deliver our supply chain third party evaluation programme which may involve travel outside of the UK, so flexibility to travel abroad is a must.

Key knowledge, qualifications and experience you will need to be a success in the role:

You will have proven experience in working with regulatory authorities and certification bodies and in leading or actively participating to audits for the acquisition of formal accreditations, this will have included auditing suppliers outside of Europe.

 

You will bring with you a working knowledge of at least one of the following schemes / standards: ISO, BRCGS, FSSC, GMP/GDP, REACH, MHRA. You will enjoy creating and maintaining documentation to ensure that we achieve continual certification across our different divisions. Your experience in Problem Solving and Risk Analysis will be something that will help you to succeed in your new position with us.

 

 

Some Practical Skills that would be ideal:

You should have a good level of IT literacy, including the use of Microsoft office suite and the capability to learn how to use Quality management software. You will have a high attention to detail, coupled with the ability to confidently adapt to fast changing scenarios and work demands.

Education:

You will have an undergraduate qualification in a science related degree.
