About the job
Main Accountabilities
- Ensure Compliance to all site Safety Health & Environment (SHE) procedures within area of responsibility. Operating all plant in accordance with these procedures .
- Be a member of the site Emergency Response team, attending all required training.
- Complete of relevant DSEAR checks.
- Keep and maintain site housekeeping standards at all times.
- Operate the process equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Loading of tanker barrels and packing on time in full.
- Assist in training the operator team to create a high performance manufacturing team
- Promote the company core values of team working, communication, decision making, diversity, leadership and high performance.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Formal Education Level: GCSE or ‘O’ Level English and maths. Vocational Level Training: NVQ Level 2.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in a production role within chemical manufacturing. Working knowledge of Process Safety. Experience of Lean Manufacturing techniques (Kaizen, 5S).
