Job Overview

Reporting to the Marketing Planning Manager, the Marketing Assistant should build and maintain strong relationships across the entire Marketing Team to support the delivery of the omnichannel planning process.

The Marketing Assistant should develop a deep understanding of the Farrow & Ball consumer, brand performance, helping to co-ordinate the overall marketing activity plan with specific focus on managing the online Press area, tracking PR coverage, competitor reporting, supporting the development of owned social media channels and helping support with the organisation of events for project specific or UK market activations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Farrow & Ball press inbox, managing all press enquiries and the placement of orders for press, VIPs and influencers in line with the FOC budget
  • Update and maintain the online press area to ensure images and press releases are kept up to date for international access
  • Constantly evaluate the effectiveness of media coverage and press and PR activities, proposing improvements to maximise ROI, effectively reporting results and coverage to various internal audiences
  • Support Marketing Executives to manage UK and European sponsorship, partnership and PR/comms activity. Ensuring all activity is evaluated on a project-by-project basis to understand ROI, ensuring there are opportunities to increase brand awareness, driving footfall to the nearest showrooms or stockists and traffic to the website
  • Assist with monthly competitor reporting, monitoring news, advertising and coverage activity
  • Provide social media community management support alongside the customer services team and digital marketing executive
  • Provide support for the marketing calendar for the UK, collating marketing activity, events, advertising etc to aid discussion with sales teams representatives
  • Support the development of tools for sales implementation in market, adapting to local context and culture requirements
  • Ensure the B2B hub website is always up to date with the latest assets and creating parts for the tools to be ordered
