Duties and responsibilitiesLead the Maintenance department by implementing and monitoring procedures and guidelines in order to ensure that maintenance activities are compliant with local laws, regulations, ISO 9001, ISO14001 and OSHAS 18001, Jotun Operations System and Jotun’s HSEQ Management system. Ensure professional preventative and breakdown maintenance/systems by implementing and sustaining the Jotun ‘Belt’ programme to uphold an optimal production environment. Manage and monitor the maintenance system, plans, spare parts, personnel and costs. Lead the Maintenance team by utilising Jotun’s Leadership tools to develop, coach and guide both self and its members in order to ensure a workforce which is competent, engaged and enabled to meet Jotun’s current and future needs, including succession planning. Deliver a site-specific maintenance strategy that supports the operational and Jotun business needs. This will be supported by KPI’s that are clearly defined and continually measured. Ensure areas of responsibility and the maintenance team implement the requirements of 5S in a systematic and logical way. Continuous appraisal of standards is required to ensure the highest standards of housekeeping and efficiency are in place.
