Job Title: Internal Sales Associate

Launched in 2018, Anstar is a rapidly expanding start-up in the speciality chemical distributor space. We have quickly gained prominence in the UV-curable raw materials market, including Photoinitiators used in inks, coatings, adhesives, 3D printing and electronics.

As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an ambitious individual with solid commercial acumen and critical thinking skills to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, supporting our Sales Managers with day-to-day customer relationship management, sample coordination, supplier management, CRM maintenance, and operational support.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Customer relationship support – assist Sales Managers in nurturing customer relationships, handling client inquiries, and maintaining records in our CRM system
  • Sample management – oversee the process of arranging and dispatching samples, through coordination with our suppliers and 3rd party sample company
  • Data integrity and analysis – ensure Anstar data accuracy and integrity and assisting in sales analytics to drive insights for business growth
  • Conduct supplier, market, competitor and customer research to drive Anstar’s business intelligence
  • Operational support – work closely with the Ops & Commercial associates to provide assistance in logistics, inventory management, and process optimisation where necessary
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customers, providing timely updates on product availability, deliveries and order-related queries through phone, email and other communication channels
  • General administration duties
  • Domestic and international travel may be required on occasion to attend trade shows, visit 3rd party logistics providers and assist on customer visits where necessary

Essential requirements for the role:

  • BSc from a reputable university
  • Experience in sales support or customer service
  • Some familiarity with/ research into chemicals industry
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Analytical mindset with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication in written and verbal English
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Tech-savvy – highly proficient with Microsoft Office products and ChatGPT related technologies
  • Able to work independently under remote management (e.g., WFH)

The interview process will consist of 2 rounds. The 1st round will be via a Teams call & 2nd round will be in-person. We will aim to provide feedback to all candidates who secure a 1st round interview.
