Job Overview
Part time (22.5 hours per week) Responsibilities:
  • Help achieve business goals and objectives by providing an operational HR support service to managers and employees across the AkzoNobel business
  • Help managers deal with front line employee issues from managing employee relations cases and providing disciplinary advice to coaching managers to make balanced decisions
  • Draft and implement HR policies and procedures where required, including updates to reflect changes in employment law
  • Improve the capacity of management by developing a suite of guides and supporting documentation to enable managers to manage people processes more independently
Requirements:
  • Customer focused
  • Experience of delivering generalist HR services in a shared services environment
  • Comfortable coaching and challenging managers
  • Quick to build trust
  • Strong influencing skills and excellent knowledge of employment law
  • A good communicator
  • Familiar with HR systems
  • Eye for detail
  • Enjoy juggling changing priorities in a fast moving environment
