Job Description
Northwest Europe is one of eight global HP markets. It spans twelve countries across three geographic country clusters: The UK & Ireland, BeNeLux and Nordics & Baltics. We are looking for a category lead for our Office Printing business. In this role you will play a key role in modernizing our print business bringing new and differentiated benefits to our customers, our channel partners and HP.
As part of the market print category team you will partner closely with country, market and global cross functional teams on to lead key initiatives, life cycle management and manage the business across countries.
Responsibilities
- Business management for Northwest Europe home printing portfolio to achieve balanced scorecard results by quarter, half and year
- Product life cycle management of HP’s inkjet & laserjet portfolio
- Lead key initiatives to deliver profitable growth of HP+ including Instant Ink enrollee growth
- Deliver customer and partner presentations on home printing strategy, offering and industry trends
- Lead the unit demand-supply forecasting process across the market including allocation by country/group of countries, big deal management and process improvement actions
- Support and enable better ways of working with streamlined processes and leveraging data science for improved decision making
- Be a champion in fostering a diverse, inclusive work environment
Knowledge And Skills
- Excellent business management skills
- Passion for office & hybrid work products and solutions with a focus on delivering outcomes for our customers and partners
- Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills in English (verbally and written)
- Strong analytical skills. Comfortable with financial and business planning and analysis including optimizing revenue, share, margin and inventory
- Education and Experience:
- Higher education: University Bachelor’s degree. Master’s level degree in a relevant discipline is a plus
- 7+ years of professional experience, preferable in a relevant business or category (category management, sales, marketing, finance, operations)
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead cross functional, diverse teams to achieve ambitious goals
- Resilience, drive and clarity in the face of obstacles and challenges
- Demonstrated growth mindset – identifying and capitalizing on opportunities
