Job Overview
  • You will have overall control and responsibility for all planned and reactive maintenance of the Farrow & Ball site
  • The role plays a significant part in the overall running of the site which enables organisational performance and delivery of the Farrow & Ball business plan
  • Lead the team of engineers to ensure optimal efficient running of all site equipment and facilities
  • Supporting the wider business with ongoing improvements to equipment and property
  • To directly manage all routine maintenance and breakdowns to equipment in all departments
  • To ensure ongoing control of site repairs and renewals budget
  • To ensure all F&B properties are compliant with lease conditions
  • Ensure energy efficiency where appropriate, liaise with company appointed energy brokers for cost effective energy purchasing
  • To liaise with Site Directors and Managers to identify and then action Business Improvement initiatives; this in mechanical efficiencies and cost controls
  • Control of Site Contractors in project delivery and Health & Safety re: any/all contracted out tasks
  • Management of Capital Projects s agreed with the Operations Director
  • Control of Maintenance Contracts - review of requirements, cost and delivery
  • Identification of Health & Safety status on all Electrical and Mechanical Installations and pro-active program to continually identify areas of potential improvement and compliance with regulatory bodies
  • Leadership responsibility for your direct reports, to include objective setting (KPI's), motivating and coaching, monitoring performance and providing regular feedback
  • Drive training and development plans for team members
  • Regular and effective communication with all team members
  • Experienced and driven manager with 5+ years experience
  • Outstanding leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised, with a strategic outlook
  • Self-starter and keen to take initiative
  • Great presentation skills
  • Industry knowledge is highly desirable
