Job Overview
The purpose of the role is to assist in the formation and to be the driving force in the delivery of the digital strategy with the clear purpose of increasing global e-commerce sales, enhancing user experience and driving brand awareness. Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the day to day trading of the e-commerce platform
  • Achieve sales targets for the B2C website, continually monitoring performance and exploring opportunities to drive sales across all core markets
  • Implementing and contributing to the digital strategy, to execute new initiatives which may require new website development, content production or new technologies
  • Working closely with the commercial team, stockists and retailer partners to deliver strong direct to consumer e-commerce growth
  • Management and optimisation of the product catalogue, delivery options and pricing for the website
  • Responsible for the development of user generated content in partnership with the social team to deliver a market leading inspiration portal that showcases and inspires our customers
  • Responsible for the B2B ordering portal for our stockists and future development for trade customers as well as the B2C proposition
  • Responsible for all on site content is accurate, delivers value to the user and is optimised to benefit our key performance metrics
  • Work with external acquisition agencies, implementing technical enhancements and prioritising workflow, continually reviewing activity to drive traffic growth across key markets
  • Gain insight from consumer research, Google Analytics, product sales performance and other tools and use this to run A/B & Multivariate tests to continually improve user experience and site conversion
  • Lead the team of e-commerce/digital executives and support their learning and development objectives, building their capabilities and motivating them to deliver exceptional results
Requirements:
  • 5 years + experience in e-commerce working for retail or direct to customer propositions
  • Experience of e-commerce platforms & content management systems such as Episerver, Magneto, Hybris, Sales force or other similar platforms
  • Commercial understanding of e-commerce
  • Experience of working with and managing third party agencies
  • Experience of website optimisation, personalisation and UX practices
  • A strong understanding of Google Analytics
  • An understanding of search acquisition via PPC & SEO
  • A confident user of Microsoft packages including Excel - must be able to use Excel for an analytical approach to marketing initiatives
  • Conscientious, with exceptional attention to detail and personal ownership for their responsibilities
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
