Dulux Academy – Support Services Assistant/Apprentice

Job Overview
Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers providing information and assistance via phone and email
  • Liaise with internal suppliers placing orders for courses including catering and stationary
  • Where necessary keep records of stock held
  • Support Dulux Academy team through providing course packs, setting up training rooms and welcoming course delegates
  • Support Dulux Academy team on keeping working environment clean, tidy and safe
  • Work with the Dulux Academy team on ad hoc events and activities
  • Answering customer enquiries by phone and email assisting where possible and taking messages for others in the team to reply to
  • Printing course materials including certificates and delegate packs
  • Ordering from internal suppliers such as catering
  • Sending postal materials as needed
  • Keeping records of stock held and highlighting when orders need to be made
  • Setting up training rooms based on information provided including arranging furniture
  • Welcoming visitors and course delegates
  • Supporting Dulux Academy team with ad hoc events and activities
  • Taking messages if team members are unavailable
  • Reacting to changing situations such as delegate cancellations or room changes
Requirements:
  • Experience being part of a team
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Positive 'can do' attitude
  • Ability to organise self and work in a logical manor
  • Desire to work and provide great service to customers
  • Willingness to learn and use IT including usage of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
