RESPONSIBILITIES
Located at a prestigious manufacturer in the Midlands – England, you will be part of the BASF on-site service team. This job role will carry out/support various Paint Mix Operations and tasks on site. As an Automotive Paint Mixer, you will be responsible for:
- Material management control, which include Viscosity/Temperature checks, Stock rotation, Material Spray outs, Paint Manufacture & Quality checks
- Data management by carrying out regular product checks and adjustments prior to supplying to the production line and log data to demonstrate quality and show product trends.
- Running paint supply (Automated) systems through managing Eco-p (Durr Systems) paint supply systems, also large and small circulation systems, whilst ensuring good Quality supply to the production lines, whilst meeting customer requirements.
- Paint Mix system control including flushing/pressure checks/setting/mix speeds, plus general 5s activities and control.
QUALIFICATIONS
- The successful candidate should ideally have 3 GCSEs grade 4 and above or equivalent and/or a Level 3 NVQ qualification preferably in Manufacturing/Production
- You should have a good understanding and knowledge of paint and paint delivery systems.
- You have experience of working with various Microsoft Excel and Word, plus ability to adapt to new Digital solutions.
- You have good communication skills and can collaborate well with internal and customer teams
- You will need to work in-line with BASF Health and Safety policies, whilst also adhering to customer site rules. This includes understanding and adhering to ALL general safety requirements. Driving Safety first principles.
