Job Details
To administer payroll processes and provide accounts support to the business
Location: OL10 2TW
Reporting to: Finance Director
Salary: up to 33K per annum depending on experience
Open to graduate applicants
Duties and responsibilities
Payroll
Manage end to end payroll operations, guaranteeing that every payslip is accurate and everyone
employee is paid on time – both UK and European payroll
o End to end preparation of monthly UK payroll using SAGE 50 Payroll, ensuring compliance
throughout
o Working with TMS system.
o Processing SSP, SMP, pension payments, loan deductions
o Pension Administration – auto enrolment compliance, uploading pension amounts, salary sacrifice
understanding
o Processing statutory payments
o Year End – P60s, P11d’s
o Liaising with European payroll bureaus for non UK employees
o Setting up payroll payments in a timely manner
o Posting of payroll journals and transactions onto SAP
Credit Control
Proactively engaging with customers, monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger
o Sending out monthly statements to customers, and chasing any overdue payments
o Inputting of customer receipts on SAP daily
o Maintaining a clean debtors ledger
o Bi-weekly debtors meetings with MD and FM
o Support in setting and updating credit limits for all customers
Accounts and Other Duties
o To update banking information on a day to day basis
o To process payments accurately on the bank – working in various currencies
o To assist Finance Manager with month end duties, including accruals, prepayments,
depreciation etc
o Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
o Provide finance business information to various departments
o Responsible for monitoring short term cashflow, and providing 8 week forecast – highlighting
any issues to FM and MD
o Attending daily production meetings – feeding back any finance related discussions to FM
o Finance lead at department heads monthly meetings
o Assisting with both group reporting audit and statutory audit
o Identification and implementation of process improvements
o To work as part of the office team to cover office duties including answering telephone calls,
post, reception duties and maintaining general standards
o To follow all H&S, Quality and Environmental requirements in line with Company Instructions,
policies and manuals
