Job Overview
Responsibilities:
  • Drive profitable growth in our Dulux Decorator Centre (DDC) store network by developing business within both the Decorator and Commercial Contractor channels
  • Focus on delivering world class customer management by collaborating with our sales teams DDC stores in your region to design, support and execute sales plans along with taking ownership for managing and growing your own call file of key customers
  • Develop effective and efficient ways of working with the DDC stores to deliver jointly agreed plans, business growth and world class customer engagement
  • Construct compelling sales benefits to ensure our products are the customers' first choice as well as identify and unlock new business opportunities
  • Build an understanding of customer trends in your region and work with colleagues to influence them and grow regional sales and profits
  • Develop market competitor and customer insights and share these with key stakeholders in the business to support a continuous improvement culture
Requirements:
  • Experienced sales professional with a record of delivering consistent profitable sales growth within a fast paced environment
  • Your success will be based on developing client focused and commercially viable solutions to meet the customers' needs
  • You will be used to creating and executing strategic customer plans as well as deploying customer insights, need and behaviours to build sales plans that improve commercial performance
  • Good at fostering in-depth client relationships
  • Possess excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Self-motivated, excel at forecasting, comfortable achieving targets
  • Resilient in negotiations
  • Full driving license essential
