We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our graduate programme who can be passionate about the chemical industry and determined to make an impact on our business.

 

Main Accountabilities:

  • Develop, write and edit marketing and communications materials, including press releases, blogs, social media content, shareholder/investor presentations
  • Promote and manage communications and marketing materials through appropriate social media channels
  • Track analytics and create reports detailing successes and failures of communications campaigns
  • Ensure that all communications and marketing material aligns with Synthomer standards
  • Maintain digital media archives including photos and videos
  • Work with communications team members to conceptualise and implement communications strategies and campaigns
  • Respond to media inquiries, such as press releases, brochures, and other materials Implement social media strategies

 

What you will bring to the role:

  • Minimum 1 year’s prior experience in a communications or marketing role
  • Understand the best practices of external website and main social media channels, as well as content management
  • Possess exceptional writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content
  • Strong communicator who works well independently with multiple senior stakeholders
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of communications, public relations and marketing best practices
  • Ability to think strategically, deliver projects and identify ways to improve communication
  • Must be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal direction
  • Competent user of Adobe Creative Suite (which includes e.g. Photoshop and InDesign), Digital communication (Video software and production)
  • Office365 experience (Powerpoint, Teams, Sharepoint, Stream….)

This position will be based in Harlow, Essex, with frequent travel to our London office (once Covid restrictions are lifted).
