Thanks to our innovative products and great team – we are proud that the business is continuing to grow, we now have an opportunity for Credit Analyst to join our professional Credit and Collections team based in Trafford Park which also offers the opportunity to work from home or a hybrid arrangement.

Purpose of the Job:

 

To keep overdue debts to a minimum by ensuring regular contact with customers and internal colleagues.  To manage Daily Worklist tasks.  To work with Cash Allocation Teams to ensure accurate allocations of payments. To ensure customer queries are logged swiftly and are followed up with the Customer Services Team for resolution.  To analyse customer blocked orders and release where possible, and where not liaise with the customer and the customer service team.  Assisting with completing customer compliance checks. Assist the Credit Manager with the review of credit limits including credit checks

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

IT Systems and Communications

Works effectively within specific IT systems and applications.  A sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required and experience in SAP desirable

 

Application of Expertise

Applies their own specific and detailed knowledge or expertise to a problem or situation in order to resolve it in the best interests of the Company.  Problem solve and liaise with customers internally and externally to expedite and resolve customer issues in a timely manner

 

Follow Procedures

Follow all appropriate procedures effectively and perform all appropriate tasks within set time scales and to set standards.  Ensure orders are reviewed and released in a timely manner and are JSOX compliant

 

Telephone skills

Be able to act professionally and appropriately over the telephone, representing the Company in the best possible light.  To be confident and professional when speaking to customers both internal and external at all levels both orally and by email

 

Qualifications / Experience Critical for the job Holder

 

Proven credit control experience, preferably in a commercial environment which includes small and multi-national customers

Must be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a small team.

Ideally educated to A Level standard or equivalent
